Clinical Nutritionist

Mount Pleasant, Perth or Online Australia Wide

As a clinical nutritionist, my role is to teach you the nutritional knowledge required to make positive dietary and lifestyle changes, reducing the risk of chronic disease and increasing your likelihood of being happy and well.

Based on current scientific research, and a holistic approach to health and wellbeing, I’ll aim to address the cause of your symptoms (physical/mental/emotional) and support you to achieve your individual health goals.

How Can a Clinical Nutritionist Help You?

  • Fatigue

  • Chronic stress, depression and other mental health concerns

  • Health behaviours/co-occurring conditions associated with ADHD

  • Poor sleep

  • Weight concerns

  • Family dietary/lifestyle habits

  • Hypertension (high blood pressure) and dyslipidemia (including elevated LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, etc.)

  • Elevated blood glucose and/or insulin resistance

  • Menstrual disorders and women’s health issues before/after menopause

  • Digestive (gut) issues - IBS, reflux, bloating, cramping, constipation and/or diarrhoea

  • Thyroid, autoimmune and inflammatory conditions

Many of the above issues are symptoms of or risk factors for chronic disease. According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (2023), more than 49.9% of Australian adults have one or more chronic conditions. Although genetics may play a role in the development of these chronic diseases, each have modifiable risk factors that you can control and each can be reduced with nutritional support.

Whether it’s for assistance with the management or prevention of a specific health condition, or for informed advice on how to optimise your family’s health, everyone can gain from seeing a clinical nutritionist and learning about the healing powers of food. A clinical nutritionist uses scientific research, clinical knowledge and personalised support to assist you with your individual concerns.

Just because these health issues are common, it doesn’t mean they’re “normal”.
